What “Seasons” Means
Each participating studio receives four seasonal workshops per year, each aligning with a specific phase of the menstrual cycle—mirroring the natural rhythm of the Earth’s seasons:
FALL
LUTEAL: A time for reflection, grounding, and preparation.
WINTER
MENSTRUATION: A sacred moment of rest, release, and renewal.
SPRING
FOLLICULAR: The beginning of new energy, growth, and creativity.
SUMMER
OVULATION: A season of connection, confidence, and vitality.
HOW OUR PARTICIPANTS AND PARTNERS FEEL
"My daughter is 13 and just starting her journey. I wanted her first experiences with her cycle to be grounded in confidence, not shame — the way mine weren't. We went to the Spring workshop together and it opened up conversations between us that I didn't even know we needed. She came home and said 'Mom, I actually feel proud of my body.' That alone was worth everything."
-Danielle M., 41, Raleigh, NC
"I'm 19 and honestly thought a workshop about cycles would feel cheesy or uncomfortable. It was the opposite. It was the first time someone actually explained what's happening in my body in a way that made me feel empowered instead of embarrassed. I've already told three of my friends they need to go."
-Maya L., 19, Charlotte, NC
"I came to Celebrating Our Seasons not really knowing what to expect. I've spent most of my life dreading my period, not honoring it. But after the Winter workshop, something shifted. The combination of the meditation, the movement, and just being in a room full of women who got it — I left feeling like my body wasn't broken. I felt like it was actually wise. I haven't felt that way before, ever."
-Renee T., 34, Atlanta, GA
