In 2025, Divine Drops had the pleasure of working with three incredible interns—each of them contributing to one of the core pillars of our mission: funding, marketing, and community outreach. Their creativity, sensitivity, and fresh perspectives made a lasting impact on our work, helping us grow in visibility, deepen our community relationships, and lay the groundwork for future success.
consistent voice across platforms.
Thanks to the efforts of our Marketing Intern, we saw a +324.2% increase in digital visibility. As our marketing strategy was still in its early stages, this intern brought a much-needed new vision—helping Divine Drops connect with a wider audience, educate the public on menstrual health, and attract supporters who align with our mission.

Building a community.
Our Community Engagement Intern brought the heart of Divine Drops directly into the spaces where it matters most. Through intentional outreach and meaningful face-to-face interactions, they helped transform our mission into real relationships.
One of the highlights of this internship was our tabling event at UNCG, where we showcased Divine Drops’ essential resources—from sustainable menstrual products to educational materials.
We also hosted a journaling and storytelling session with young women passionate about menstrual equity. These intimate, reflective moments created safe spaces for conversation, empowerment, and the realization that no one is alone in this journey.
Through their work, this intern helped forge connections with 20+ new period advocates—young leaders ready to take up the torch and speak out for change. Their efforts strengthened our community fabric and reminded us that when we create space for others to be seen, heard, and valued, real transformation begins.

strengthening our foundation.
Our Fundraising Intern helped lay the groundwork for long-term sustainability and growth at Divine Drops. Through thoughtful research, outreach, and behind-the-scenes strategy, they helped us expand our network of potential supporters—people and organizations who believe in our mission and want to be part of creating lasting change.
Most importantly, they reminded us that every step toward funding our mission—no matter how small—is a step toward empowering more girls with dignity, education, and opportunity.
Global impact.
Among our 2025 interns, we were honored to work with a remarkable Mandela Washington Fellow from Liberia, whose passion and international perspective brought incredible value to Divine Drops.
As an intern, she focused on adapting and expanding our Reproductive Health Champions Program, building strategic partnerships tailored to the specific needs of each community we aim to serve. Her leadership and initiative helped us think globally while acting locally.
Through her collaboration with the Orange Foundation and her nonprofit, Pads for Girls, she provided menstrual health education and free pads to over 340 girls in Liberia—empowering them with the tools and knowledge to manage their periods with dignity.
Her work is a powerful reminder that menstrual equity is a global issue—and that when we invest in young leaders, the ripple effect can reach far beyond borders.

Our interns are more than just temporary team members—they bring fresh ideas, strategic insight, and a genuine passion for social impact. They help build the foundation for future growth, support underserved communities, and shape the direction of Divine Drops in meaningful ways.
Thanks to their contributions, we’re better positioned to serve even more girls around the world.
